BEFORE & AFTER

Renewing the existing painted surface.

The earlier photograph shows a white-painted wall with areas of worn and flaking coating, particularly around the lower part of the elevation. The finished view shows that same wall with a renewed white finish around the retained window and pipework.

This was redecoration of existing painted masonry. The adjoining unpainted brickwork remains exposed, keeping the different parts of the building distinct.

JOINERY & DETAIL

Looking after the features already there.

The close-up of the original window shows why the condition of an existing coating matters. The frame, opening edges and sill need to be considered alongside the wall surface when planning an exterior decorating job.

The later views show the light window finishes against the original brickwork, with the darker porch and trim providing contrast. The glazed door is another detail within the same exterior scheme.
