Two additional classrooms.

These photographs extend our record of classroom decorating at the school. They show furniture protected during the work, the condition of the window-side walls and the completed light-coloured walls and ceilings. Existing blinds, display boards and classroom fittings remained in place.

Project overview

The original two-classroom project.

Two classrooms were prepared and redecorated to create brighter, tidier spaces ready for everyday school use. Furniture, displays and fixed classroom items were worked around carefully, with attention given to preparation and a neat finish across the main surfaces.

Protection, preparation and an orderly handover matter.

Classrooms contain more fixed items, displays, storage and equipment than an empty room. A successful school decorating project needs a clear plan for access, protection and reinstatement as well as the painting itself.

For this project, the rooms were approached as working teaching spaces: surfaces were made ready, surrounding items were protected or worked around, and the completed rooms were left presentable for the school team.
